The flexible anchor line consists of a man made fibre rope 12 mm Ø twisted or in kernmantel structure, 13 mm Ø kernmantel structure or 16 mm Ø twisted rope.

The design of the rope ends can be individually selected (see pictures). The ends are finished off by splicing (GS) or stitches (KM), which are protected by shrinkdown plastic tubings.
Standard lengths are 10 m or 15 m or special lengths as needed.

Function:
The felxible anchor line is the basis for fall arrester (MAG 3) with self-locking function. The guided type fall arrester runs alongside the anchor line (rope), follows the user without, manual adjustment while moving up or down and locks automatically on the anchor line. The possible fall height results from the length of the lanyard between the fall arrester and the full body harness. Generally, the shorter the lanyard the shorter the fall distance. The lanyard must never be longer than 1 metre. The device can be unfolded and so attached or removed at any point of the anchor line (rope). Generally the flexible anchor line (rope) is in itself an absorbing element of the fall arrest system, however the use of an energy absorber is always recommended.
