Lanyard fixed or length adjustable rope or webbing
Lanyards serve to connect the restraint
belt respectively the body harness to the anchorage point.
The length of the lanyard may only be max. 2 m incl. the
existing shock absorber, resp. 1 m, in connection with guided type
fall arrester on a flexible or rigid anchorage line.

Lanyard Band

Material: Polyester webbing 25 x 5 mm,
fittings in light metal
Construction: One end with light metal one-hand
karabiner, the other with insertion loop, the "adjustable eight"
allows continous adjustment of length with the VARIO models.
Adjustable range: from 1,2 m to max. 2 m
Function: Serves as connection of the attachment element
or fall arrester eyelet (on the work positioning belt or full body
harness) to the anchor point. An energy absorber is additionally
required in fall arrest systems.
Construction:
One end with light metal one-hand karabiner hook, the other with

Function:
Connects the fall arrester eyelet of the full
body harness with the anchor point. Connects the fall arrester
eyelet of the full body harness with the anchor point.
One end to attach the tape fall absorber to
the fall arrester eyelet of the full body harness, the other end
with safety hook. RH 60/RH 60 or RH 60/ twistlock karabiner
Function:
Y-systems are ideal for climbing ladders, high
shelves, cranes etc. to offer permanent protection for the
user.
PA-webbing in the energy absorber and PA-tube
band with embedded elastic, fittings in light metal.
Construction:
Total length 2 meter, one end with light metal
one-hand karabiner hook, the other one with safety hook RH 60 (pipe
hook with 6 cm opening of the catch). During use take care of the
possible extension of the energy absorber in case of a fall.
Function:
The Y-system provides an ideal protection in
case of a fall from a height for work performed on high shelves,
cranes, steel constructions and poles. Due to alternating hooking
on of the lanyard, permanent safety is guaranteed (comparable to
safety on a climbing path). This lanyard is also available in a
single strand version as shown.
Fall-absorbers are obligatory in fall arrest
systems according to EN 363. They must be situated between the
anchor point and the person to be secured. In case of a fall from a
height the occurring force is reduced to a tolerable degree for the
person and the anchor point (max. 6 kN) because the tape tears
open.
