* one end with a light metal one-hand karabiner hook (AHK),
the other one with a twistlock karabiner hook (TWLK)
* one end with a light metal one-hand karabiner hook (AHK),
the other one only with a loop (incl. thimble)
* both ends with a loop (incl. thimble)
* one end with a light metal pivoting one-hand karabiner
hook (AHK pivoting) the other one with a twistlock karabiner hook
(TWLK)
* one end with a light metal pivoting one-hand karabiner
hook (AHK pivoting) the other one only with a loop (incl.
thimble)
Extension:
Energy absorbers can be extended to a total length of approx. 1 m
with the lanyard „Band Fix - 0.5 m“ or up to a maximum
of 2 m with the lanyard „Fix 1.5 m“ = fall arrest
system (see lanyards)
Function:
With fall arrest systems the use of energy
absorbers is prescribed. They are integrated in the system between
the anchor point and the person to be secured — best directly
on the full body harness. In case of a fall the fall shock is
reduced when the tape „tears open“.
This reduces the strain for the person and the anchorage (anchor
point) significantly. During use take care of the possible
extension of the energy absorber in case of a fall:
energy absorber length + tear open length = max. possible total
length of 2 m !!!
