During work in positions at risk from falling from a height in
buildings suitable anchor points for the PPE against falls from a
height are often lacking. This safety crosshead offers a safe
anchor point, which can be easily and quickly attached or removed.
(Especially suitable for assembling or cleaning windows).
The safety crosshead is clamped by quick adjustment into a door
opening opposite the window. The lanyard or the safety rope
(flexible anchor line) is then hooked into the ring eyelet of the
safety crosshead.
The safety crosshead must not be used as an anchor point by more
than two people at the same time.
In this case the open width of the door must not exceed 900 mm. If
only one person is secured, the door width must not exceed 1,100
mm.
The safety crosshead may only be used in door openings with
supporting walls on both sides and
it must not be used to lift or fix
loads.
